Vacancies at Wild at Heart
Wild at Heart is delighted to announce we have an exciting opening to be based at our beautiful new flagship store on Pimlico Rd. We are looking for someone to work closely with our team at our new interiors store; duties would include selling our range of gorgeous floral inspired ceramics, glassware and candles, and helping with the day-to-day running of the store. If you are interested, please send us your cover letter and CV to flowers@wildatheart.com, with "Application for Interiors Assistant" in the subject title.

Wedding in Provence
We have just returned from a spectacular wedding in Aix en Provence in the South of France. The clients brief was to create a four day event that would not only be romantic and glamorous but also sympathetic to the rustic Provencal setting. The main wedding itself was set in the grounds of a French manor house. Guests walked through the olive grove strung with bunting made out of natural linens and lined with clear glass hurricane lamps. Amazing garlands of roses in shades of peach, apricot and terracotta were wound around the bamboo posts of the ceremony marquee and down the grand stone staircase. The same shades of roses were arranged in vintage stone urns on the reception tables and a huge ball of olive and eucalyptus was suspended above the dance floor. To complement the rustic feel we used natural linen for table runners, cushion covers and aprons for the waiting staff.
Ralph Lauren Evening
Nikki was recently delighted to be asked for the second time to host an evening at Ralph Lauren to introduce their new summer collection. The evening was a great success with many friends and clients enjoying champagne and canapes. To offset the collection we created a garden party theme with Victorian garden furniture and baskets of flowers sitting on a real grass lawn outside and large arrangements of cherry blossom and roses inside.
New Flagship Store – 54 Pimlico Road
We were very sad to close our doors at Live Wild at Heart on Ledbury Road two weeks ago. But at the same time we’re very excited to announce that we will be opening a new, much larger, flagship store on Pimlico Road this summer. The new store will encompass all things Wild at Heart and will combine flowers and interiors in one large elegant space. As well as browsing our sumptuous collection of candles, china, vases and soft furnishings you will be able to select your flowers - with the help of our staff - and then watch them being made up in our rustic flower workshop. This will also be the location of a number of upcoming special events including in store talks, demonstrations and classes. Designed exclusively by interiors duo Carden Cunietti, the store will be an extremely elegant, inspiring and deeply glamorous space.

Wedding flowers

We've just taken part in the Designer Wedding Show, London, and our portfolio for 2008 is building up. Popular concepts this year include:

Vintage
Think antique crystal and silver containing English country flowers such as roses, sweet peas and peonies in pastel colours.

Slate grey and soft lilac
For a sophisticated subtle look combine shades of lilac roses - including Pacific Blue, Blue Curiosa and Cool Water - and slate grey heavy cotton linen and satin ribbon with grey glass tealights and hurricane lamps.

Green
A fresh, spring feel is created with paper whites, white lilac and lime green guelder rose. We also have a selection of antique blue and white ginger jars to complement this look.

If you or anyone you know are getting married then do get in touch as soon as possible and we'd be delighted to meet and discuss ideas. And don't forget that we aren't limited to London weddings - last years destinations ranged from the Middle East to Somerset to the Hamptons, New York.
