Nikki Tibbles and Wild at Heart

After an early career in sales and advertising, Nikki Tibbles was hungry for a new direction, and knew exactly where she wanted to go. Armed only with a passion for flowers and a natural gift for design, she left her job and apprenticed herself to a south London florist, to learn her new trade.

She had set up her own workshop, creating beautiful flowers for weddings and parties, by the time celebrated architect Piers Gough completed ‘Turquoise Island’, the acclaimed development in Westbourne Grove. Nikki beat 70 rivals to the lease on the purpose-built florist’s shop on the tip of the island, and Wild At Heart was born.

Today, Nikki’s passion for flowers is as powerful as ever, and inspires all our work. As well as Turquoise Island, we now have a shop (and head office) at 54 Pimlico Road, and sell our flowers in Harrod’s and Liberty.

Whatever the scale, from a single bouquet to complete styling for spectacular corporate events, our aim is the same as ever: to provide original, inspirational, generous flowers designed around your needs. Nikki remains closely involved in all our work, talking to customers – including every bride whose flowers we design – and overseeing the creations that bear her name.
